Double face coat
This beautiful coat was made from double face cashmere, which required a very careful handling to shorten the sleeves.
Thhe mew length was marked in chalk, the fabric carefully cut and the two layers separated, using tweezers to remove the whistrands holding the two layers together. The two faces are machine stitched seeeparately and the edges turned in, before hand stitching the line of machine stitching together to create a neat finish with no raw edges on either side of the fabric.
