This commission is actually two matching mother and daughter outfits for an Eid celebration in Singapore.

The clients both wanted a slim-fitting, bias-cut, silk skirt with a lace blouse.

The first two pictures are the mother's outfit, with a separate skirt and tank-style vest top.  The high-necked blouse was made from Paris lace in the same colour blue.  Covered buttons and rouleau loops were made for the fastening on the back of the blouse and sleeve cuffs.

The final two pictures are the daughter's outfit. She had a simple slip dress with spaghetti straps and a boat-necked lace blouse with the neckline edge bound in silk
