Jessica's dress needed altering around the bust and straps to fit more closely. The appliquéd lace on the bodice was unpicked to access the seams, the bodice taken in and the lace hand-stitched back so the alteration was invisible.

Finally, the dress was shortened across the front, leaving a long train, to which we added a loop and button to hook up the train for the evening.
