Lucy wanted a very simple style of dress with drama in the structure.

She was inspired by Vivienne Westwood style corset tops and angular, 18th Century looking skirts. 

We chose silk dupion in pure white, lined with silk habotai, which gave a papery billowing quality to the skirt.

The corset had a square neckline and low scooped back, with brass eyelets and boning to give a structured, clean silhouette. The skirt had detachable net panniers underneath to help maintain the wide shape.

Finally we put a split in the side/front to give a more playful look and show off her shoes!
