This client struggled to find skirts to fit her over both waist and hips.

A simple A-line skirt was most flattering for her and we created 3 designs using the same basic original pattern.

The first was a Chanel-style tweed using a boucle weave with metallic threads.

 A summer skirt in a light pink cotton with cream pinstripe followed the same pattern, but we added a frill at the bottom for a modern 'surf' style.

Finally a denim skirt was created from an adapted pattern, featuring topstitching and pocket details to give a more authentic jeans/ denim skirt look.
